I&#39;m really kind of addicted to this &#39;adding image&#39; feature of vox. It&#39;s pretty <em>swanky</em>. Also, I&#39;ve having a really random converstion with <a href="http://paz.vox.com/" class="enclosure-inline-user" at:enclosure="inline-user" at:user-xid="6p00c225203863f219" at:screen-name="sara" at:delegate="people-connect" at:user-pic="http://up3.vox.com/6a00c225203863f21900c22520353f549d-75si" >sara</a> right now. I&#39;ve figured out I can&#39;t type the word gum at all. First I typed &quot;gym&quot; and then &quot;guy&quot;. I fail! <br /></p><p><br /><p>Last night I was hanging out with a couple of friends and we were talking about an array of topics. My friend Lauren has come up with a new term. She labels people cucumbers who deal with their problems internally or just brush them off. I&#39;m not sure where the term comes from, but she said she imagines people (most of her friends) with these green complexions walking around. <br /></p><p>Supposedly I&#39;m the epitome of a cucumber because I have a philosophy that states: If something happens to you that won&#39;t be affecting you in ten years you probably shouldn&#39;t worry too much about said problem at the time. This mainly helps me deal with rejectioins and people snubbing me because chances are I won&#39;t be affected by those actions ten years down the road. Occurances like losing one&#39;s job, or a limb, or developing cancer would be stuff to worry about because those will definitely affect one&#39;s life in ten years. Cucumbers are notorious for being emotional husks. They don&#39;t let everyone see their emotions. They don&#39;t wear their heart crap on their sleeves. I&#39;m like this, and I&#39;m rather proud. This isn&#39;t to say I don&#39;t know how to share my emotions. I&#39;m just not so free with them (especially around acquantinces or people I don&#39;t know well). I find it easier, and less burdensome.</p><br /><p>Also, thanks goes out to the people who have added me to their neighborhoods!
