My room is beautifully clean.
I'm still trying to figure out what to do my next paper on.

(1) Do people base their initial friendships on physical appearance? Do we surround ourselves with people we find physically attractive (and not even in a sexual way, but in a 'you're appealing to look at' way)? And if so, why? Isn't that rather shallow of us? Is this 'shallow initial response to someone' a result of media -- something ingrained or taught within us?

This idea would be interesting, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to get a thousand words out of it, but then again I've always been good at just typing and typing.

(2) How do advertisements affect homosexual consumers? Is the affect the same as it would be for a straight woman? How is it different? Is the increase in male advertisements due to a greater acceptance of homosexuality? (That one could be a no brainer).

Now, with this subject I know I could get to one thousand words, but I hesitate to write a paper analyzing homosexuality in regards to advertisements and consumerism because even though I'm a gay man that is not my personality nor my whole life. It's a part of me, but not the overwhelming factor. Then again it might possibly be a fresh perspective on these gender issues.

Such a conundrum! What do you all (there are so many of you, ha) think?
