Last night was interesting. Went to several halloween parties. A friend and I dressed as her parents, and it was fun. The whole night was just kind of odd. There was this huge group of us who all went to the first party together and I was having a good time dancing and dancing and all that jazz. I didn't know very many people, but that's never bothered me before, but about half of the group I was with didn't know anyone and wasn't having fun, so they wanted to go to another party.
    I obliged and went along, and we ended up at this guy's house. He had wassail and a bonfire and old records to groove to. It was a good time, but in a different way. My "wife" got rather plastered and depressed, so I walked her home. The stars were visible in the sky and people were running around whooping and hollering and here we are strolling down the cracked sidewalk. She enumerated about her problems and I listened and held her steady. We made it back to her place, I let her in, she curled up on her couch, I talked to one of her room-mates for five minutes or so who just about to go out) and then I biked back to my room. The whole affair, the whole evening, was interesting. Yay for first collegiate halloween experience!
    Today I'm going to be going with two friends to look at a house. It's three miles from campus and six-hundred a month, so I'm not sure it'll be a perfect fit, but I went by yesterday and really liked the outside. And it's in a nice neighborhood.
    Then on actual Halloween there's going to be a party, and there'll be this guy there that could be interested in me. So that'll be interesting -- we'll see what happens, hah.

I've been listening to Thao Nguyen constantly lately. I only have three songs that I stole from her website. I want more! So I (amazingly) got myself into the iTune's store and purchased the album! Mainly because I couldn't find any of her music on Limewire. Once I listen to the whole CD I shall do a proper review -- I can already tell I'm going to love it!

Today has been really good. I had lunch with a guy in my East Asian Civ. class, and we get along really well. And he's gay! So, there definitely could be something brewing. Such as today in class he sat next to me, and while watching a movie I did the whole 'subtle pressure of knee on knee' (I had my leg crossed over -- the "manly" leg cross if you will -- and he did as well) where I moved my knee ever so subtly to where it was pressing against his knee, and then slowly applied pressure. Most men will move away at this because you're invading their personal space, but he didn't! It could be a slight sign, yes. I love this aspect of the chase. The subtle flirting and uncertainty and exhiliration. We're going to go on a walk later tonight -- I'll be sure to keep you all updated (if you're curious, ha).

I really like my neighborhood, and the people I've encountered here on Vox. I agree with everything people have been saying, and like others am unsure about how this opening up of Vox will affect the experience. Basically, all you that read my posts or make posts I read are really awesome. Please feel free to talk to me on AIM anytime, hah (I feel like I've said this before -- but it bares repeating, mhm).

Spanish mid-term in less than an hour. I'm really not worried; I'd almost dare to say it's going to be easy-peasy, but I don't want to underestimate.

It's rainy and splendid outside. You know those days when the sky is one gray mass and there's a slight breeze and everything is completely dreary, but it makes you completely ecstatic? Maybe this is just me, but tt's one of those days.

I've started talking to a school-mate through facebook. He's good looking; a crush is forming. Thankfully he's gay, so the crush is more plausible. I wonder what will happen. If anything. There's another guy that I've sort of been seeing as well who doesn't want a relationship. For him I can understand since he just got out of a real crappy, dramatic relationship, but man. The trend here (at least in the gay community) seems to be 'no strings attached'. You know, let's get hot and heavy, but nothing too serious. We can't do that. No, no no. This frustrates me sometimes because I want that serious aspect. I want that relationship. Maybe this guy I've started talking to will give that to me. I'm not going to hope because that can only set one's self up for failure, but yeah.

Zorro and I aren't gallavanting together anymore. He's jumped off his stallion and ran into the lush countryside, but I'm fine -- the breeze still ruffles my hair, and I still speed forward. Yeah, I'm not going to be thrown.

It was a fun week. I'm sure there will be many more to come.
