I'm completely out of clean underwear.

First, I'm really addicted to stumbleupon right now. Maaan. I've seen so many neat things, and I've learned so much in these past days.

Second, these last two weeks of school are ahhh no good and are slowly eating away at my soul. I've started walking to school though instead of biking, and that's been really nice for me. I just have to keep chugga-chuggin' along.

Third, over Thanksgiving break I took my dirty clothes home, which basically consists of all my clothes. This includes a huge majority of my underwear. I think washed everything, and stuck everything but my underwear in front of my dresser at home. I made the horrible mistake of being too organized and put my underwear in my dresser. Then, upon my trip back to school, I completely forgot to take my underwear back with me and am now completely out of clean underwear (having worn the few articles I had here in my apartment). My mom has hopefully sent some to get me through these two weeks. Otherwise, commando will be my choice of under-garment for the interim.

Fourth, thanks for reading this. I want to talk more about my upcoming trip to Spain sometime soon. Woo!

A jumble! A break!

let's be birds in this tree together

That photo was taken on a walk by this pond where I live. The pond is really nice for swimming in during the summer. It's located in this wooded area by a community college in my neighborhood.

Today has been good so far. Right now I'm just cleaning up my room at my parent's house (I've been visiting for Thanksgiving break). Listening to Cat Power, doing laundry, thinking thinking thinking. On Wednesday I went to a bookstore and bought Cien sonetos de amor [One hundred sonnets of love] by Pablo Neruda so I could attempt to slog my way through each one. So far the sonnets have been really saucy -- such as this line, "Oh invádeme con tu boca abrasadora", which means Oh invade me with your scorching mouth. Aye aye!

School has been going well. As Lauren was saying in one of her posts (hi there you!), I also try to do as well as possible with my classes, which mainly translates to the extreme desire to achieve As. I feel I'll pull it off this semester, which will be nice. But but if I do end up with a B that'll be fine too. Lately I've tried to not over-stress about school since that can only lead to lots of trouble!

Oh I wish...

I just took some Nyquil and am wondering how long it will take to zonk me out. I've never taken Nyquil before (unless Robutussin counts -- I mean they both taste horrendous). Immediately after downing the horrid concoction I ate some Frosted Mini-Wheats and drank a bunch of water. Watch the Nyquil not work at all, ha.

School (more like east asian civ) is trying to kill me (killing me softly... with ITS deadlines, killing me softly...). I have a mid-term in that class next week. This mid-term will be one of two tests that determine my grade in that class -- the other being the final -- and I found out today that the professor loves dates. MAN. All I can say is this sore throat better go away right quick or I'm going to be a cranky boy for awhile.

Parents are coming up to visit this weekend, and I'm actually more excited about it then I thought I would be. I think it'll help curb my partying on the weekend, so I can actually get some sleep and be RESTED for the following week. Maybe I'll even be able to get a lot of studying done! I have no idea!

All I know is right now I'm going to hop in bed and let the Nyquil fairy take me away! Good night chicos!
